At the Heizhaus the Mh.6 steam locomotive is fired up and shows how a locomotive is prepared. You can ask questions about wheels, levers and the cab 🚂 There are short rides with steam and diesel on the 'Krumpe' – family-friendly circular rides with historic cars like the Ötscherbär. In the afternoons the visit often ends with a small barbecue at the Heizhaus. On narrow-gauge days presentations, special runs and a 1:87 model of the Mariazellerbahn in Kirchberg are on the program 🍖
