Description
The ferry boat is modeled after the "Hol över" made of oak wood and is the only manually operated ferry in Schleswig-Holstein. The ferry connection has existed for several hundred years. Seven passengers can be accommodated in the boat, and you can also cross with a bicycle.
At the Stöpenkieker, a small museum at the landing stage, you can learn about the fascinating history of the ferry. After the crossing, you can relax at Sööte Eck with a delicious coffee and cake.
During the ferry season from May 1 to October 3, several interesting events related to the ferry take place.
