Description

The Historisches Wasserwerk in Eislingen is over 100 years old and is a protected historic monument. It has been lovingly restored and displays the original technical equipment from that era.

The waterworks have been converted into a museum and can be visited by appointment. There, you will learn interesting facts about the local history and the industrial development in the early 20th century.

The museum showcases fascinating technology from the past, including an original telephone and a service bicycle that was used to inspect the water pipes. It also highlights significant events such as the drought of 1907 and a major fire, which helped advance the community’s shared water supply.
