Description

Hopfenmuseum Illschwang is located in a narrow wooden barn that was used for hop storage and trade until 1934.

The museum preserves the original hop press and equipment from the old trading days, offering an authentic look at traditional hop processing.

Guided tours provide a personal and detailed walk through the Hopfenmuseum.

A highlight for families is the Illschwanger Hopfenweg 🌿 – an easy, approximately 2.5-hour walk through the village, including visits to the simultaneous church, hop fields, and the museum. Along the way, you can taste Illschwang beer, brewed with regional organic hops.

The Hopfenweg is well suited for groups of 10 to 25 people. For shorter trips, there are alternatives such as a 1.5-hour village hike or a 30- to 45-minute visit to the hop barn, tailored to the needs of families and groups.
