HUDY lezecká stěna

Looking for a place to climb? HUDY lezecká stěna has about 140 routes ranging from difficulty 2 to 8a on the French scale, so beginners and more experienced climbers can both find something to try. A dedicated children’s climbing wall (dětská stěna) gives the youngest climbers their own space to start out.

The wall offers varied terrain, from vertical and overhanging to slab-style climbing profiles. Edges, cracks and chimneys are built into the surface to practice techniques similar to real rock climbing, and routes run 15 m to 21 m long. A new, modern bouldering hall adds about 550 m² of climbing surface with roughly 130 boulder problems.

Visitors will also find:

• Five auto-belay units (samonavijáky) for climbing without a belay partner
• Climbing courses for learners
• Climbing equipment for rent on site, so no gear of your own is needed

The climbing facility is housed in a former sugar factory warehouse measuring 35 m by 15 m and 17 m high.
