At Papilonia, hundreds of exotic butterflies flutter right around you, with no barrier between you and the butterflies. 🦋

The tropical warm and humid environment brings together butterflies from the rainforests of the Amazon, Mexico, sub-Saharan Africa, the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia, creating a real vacation feeling. Because the species change over the course of the year, visits in different seasons can always reveal new butterflies.

There is also plenty to discover:

• Some butterflies have wingspans of up to 20 cm, and the largest is about as long as a soup spoon.
• You can watch a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis and take its first flight – a true natural wonder.
• Photography is allowed and is neither restricted nor charged extra.
