Description
The 18.2-hectare Huthpark in Frankfurt’s northeastern district of Seckbach was created between 1910 and 1913 based on designs by Frankfurt’s director of horticulture Carl Heicke (1862–1938) and his landscape architect Bernhard Rosenthal. Established by the Frankfurt city administration as a public park in a picturesque setting, it was completed starting in 1912 under the direction of horticulture director Max Bromme (1878–1974). The existing terrain shape was preserved.
