Description

The Kartoffelmuseum Brillit invites you to discover the fascinating history of the potato, especially the regionally important peat potato variety Sieglinde. The museum is housed in a potato storage hall over 150 years old, offering an authentic journey back in time.

Here you can admire agricultural tools, including historic machines used for planting and harvesting potatoes, as well as household appliances once used to prepare delicious potato dishes. Along the way, you’ll learn a lot about the potato’s regional and nutritional significance.

The museum is open on special event days or by appointment – perfect for families who want to learn and have fun together.
