Description
The Keltenturm am Sandberg invites families on a lively discovery tour: on the Sandberg there is a large Celtic open-air village – described as the largest in Austria, and one of the largest in Central Europe, which is especially good for exploring together. Archaeological finds like grape seeds show that wine was already cultivated on the Sandberg around 500 BC – a tangible connection to the everyday world of the Celts that children can easily imagine. Local winemakers started the Keltenwein-Projekt: playful labels with Celtic warrior motifs and a joint special edition of the Sandberg Grüner Veltliner ('Keltenkarton'), produced by six winemakers. In wine there is joy. 🛡️
