Kinderfarm Frankfurt

Kinderfarm Frankfurt is a natural adventure playground where children aged about 6 and up can climb outdoors, play in the bushes, build with sticks and stones, and experiment with soil and water.

They’ll encounter animals like sheep and chickens, which they help care for while learning along the way. The farm offers a kids-only environment – no parents, just educational staff – that encourages independence and creative play.

With tools like the Demokratiebuch, children can share their wishes and ideas, experiencing democracy and participation firsthand. They also take care of the garden, planting and harvesting vegetables and herbs, and trying new flavors like kohlrabi, spinach, or radishes.

Special events take place regularly and families are invited too, such as the annual autumn festival with stick bread by the campfire or family days every Saturday.

The farm deliberately uses natural materials and simple equipment without traditional toys. Children are free to get really dirty in any weather – building resilience through play and boosting creativity. 🐑🌿
