KinderKunstLabor für zeitgenössische Kunst

The KinderKunstLabor für zeitgenössische Kunst is a new exhibition venue developed specifically for and with a young audience. Here, a world full of creative discoveries and exciting hands-on opportunities awaits you! 🎨

Dive into the diverse world of art and experience how you become a part of it yourselves:

• Experience with artist Carola Dertnig how movement becomes painting – with swings and action painting. ✨
• Create together with artist Joanna Zabielska a giant textile banner and bring your ideas into public space.
• Explore a fascinating underwater world, where ecological reality meets digital imagination. 🐠
• Participate in playful workshops on photography and storytelling to invent and capture new stories. 📸
• Shape your own unique soap finger puppet and take it home as a souvenir. 🧼
• Help design exhibitions by contributing your ideas on presentation, placement of artworks, and poster design.
• Accompany artist Leopold Kessler on a bike tour to make public space more inclusive. 🚲
• Let yourselves be guided by students from the Children's Advisory Board through interactive tours and discuss your perspectives on art.
• Playfully discover lines, colors, shapes, and movements of insects to create a joint artwork. 🐛🎨

The KinderKunstLabor offers unforgettable experiences for children and families to actively discover and help shape the world of art!
