The Kinderwagenmuseum Bayer shows around 150 historic baby carriages and doll strollers – the collection covered about 155 years of baby carriage history. 🍼
The exhibits are arranged by era (up to 1925; 1926–1945; 1946–1960; from 1961) and range from handcrafted pieces to restored items. A dedicated area is devoted to doll strollers and appeals especially to children.
The founder and restorer has worked on baby carriages since childhood; the collection grew after the first find in 1998 through flea market and online purchases. Some pieces were personally obtained from northern Germany, Saxony-Anhalt or Bavaria. In addition there is a 3D tour that visitors can view digitally. 📸
