Description

Kloster Museum St. Märgen offers a diverse experience across three floors in the historic monastery building – fully accessible thanks to an elevator.

For children, there is an interactive scavenger hunt with a quiz that teaches knowledge in a playful way and ends with a small reward.

All visitors can join the regular Sunday tours at 11 AM, which are included in the admission price.

Especially exciting are the special tours about Die Breisgauer Fünfer, an exhibition featuring five painters, taking place on Sundays at 2 PM – no advance booking required.

The museum showcases the rich history of Black Forest clockmaking with cuckoo clocks and worldwide trade – a glimpse into craft heritage and cultural history.

The audio guide also allows for an independent, educational exploration of the exhibitions.
