Klövensteen-Route (29 Km)

The starting point of the tour is the Wedel S-Bahn station. From there, you follow the picturesque Wedeler Au to the Klövensteen forest area. Here, you can observe native wild boar, red deer, fallow deer, and even eagle owls in the wildlife enclosure. The route continues into the village of Appen, where several spots invite you to rest, including small cafés and Appener See (Appen Lake). The next highlight of the tour awaits at the inland dune area "Holmer Sandberge"! Large sandy areas on the left and a small firefighting pond on the right – it’s worth making a brief stop here. After the break, cycle once more through the open fields, cross the Wedeler Au, and you’ll soon be back in Wedel.
