The Landesmuseum Natur und Mensch Oldenburg offers exciting experiences for the whole family 🌿.

For children aged 5 to 12, there is the multilingual children’s program mini.diwan, which encourages cross-cultural exchange. Families with children aged 6 and up can join the exciting discovery tour “Garden in Transition – Following the Trees Together” in the palace garden.

From age 10, the autumn family and adult walk “Garden in Transition – Colors of Autumn” in the palace garden invites you to a colorful nature experience 🍂.

During renovations, the museum remains open with the exhibitions Mineraliengewölbe and Vivarium. Workshops and guided tours continue – including for school classes and groups.

The museum supports the Museums For Future initiative and is committed to climate protection with the project “Klimaoasen Oldenburg”, which makes historic green spaces climate-resilient.

Additionally, families with children can take advantage of a variety of educational offerings, including birthday parties, school field trips, and group tours.
