Lessingplatz

The historic Lessingplatz from the Gründerzeit era has been completely redesigned as an intervention area and public square. Based on extensive community involvement, a vibrant meeting place was created in southern Sonnenberg. A variety of play and sports facilities invite you to hop, climb, and balance. Two ping-pong tables and new seating areas provide space for activity, relaxation, and socializing. Newly planted trees and redesigned flower beds frame the square in green. Its layout is shaped by two central axes and four quarters. Renovated wooden walkways enhance the comfort of your visit and connect the different parts of the square.
