Description
Lichtenrader Volkspark is a public park in the Berlin district of Lichtenrade. The park was created starting in 1979 by a citizens' initiative and has been maintained since 1981 by the Lichtenrader Volkspark e. V. association. It is considered the oldest public green space in Germany initiated and cared for by local citizens. The park covers an area of about 4.6 hectares.
