Description
Lietzensee is an inner-city lake located in the Charlottenburg neighborhood of Berlin’s Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. The crescent-shaped lake covers an area of 6.6 hectares and is three to four meters deep. The surrounding Lietzenseepark covers an additional 10.1 hectares. The park was designed between 1918 and 1920 by landscape director Erwin Barth.
