Description

Märchenwald Bad Breisig delights with over 40 lovingly crafted fairy tale houses that bring classic stories to life through moving and speaking figures.

Kids and families can experience the scenes interactively by pressing buttons and actively exploring the fairy tale world for themselves. The atmosphere is nostalgic and peaceful – perfect for a relaxed stroll through magical worlds designed especially for little eyes.

The idyllic forest path on the hillside also offers wonderful views of the Rhine Valley, including Arenfels Castle and the Siebengebirge hills. At the end of the trail, a small playground invites the youngest visitors to play. Dogs are welcome on the forest paths but not on the playground.

The figures, artistically designed by Willy Zeh with voices by Konrad Beikircher, make the experience especially enchanting. Look forward to twelve Grimm fairy tales and a scene from Wilhelm Busch’s 'Max and Moritz'.

A cozy break is provided by the café terrace serving snacks and drinks, along with a small kiosk offering sweets and souvenirs. Märchenwald blends over 90 years of family tradition with a magical nature experience – ideal for families, children’s groups, and anyone seeking classic fairy tale charm.
