Description
The Markusturm in Wolfsberg presents the project TEMPORIUM – Der Turm des Lebens, in which old tower rooms are put back into use and curious corners are created to explore. In the Markuskirche there are Familiengottesdienste, often with a Schultüte for school beginners 🎒; school-start celebrations with classes are regularly part of parish life. During the Vollgeläute children can experience the full sound of the bells 🔔. The church itself tells the history of its construction: a late Romanesque column basilica from the 13th century, later remodeled with Gothic and early Baroque elements – ideal for introducing children to architecture in small stories.
