Description
The Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park is a green space located at the U2 Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park subway station in the Kreuzberg neighborhood of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district in Berlin. It was created between 1960 and 1967 based on designs by O. Longhardt, H. Preuß, K. Schaller, and E. Schmäls on the site of the former Schöneberger Hafen. The park is named after the composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
