Description

The Mineralienmuseum Nowak showcases fascinating complete mineral associations (parageneses) from the High Tauern and remarkable finds from the nearby Zillertal, accompanied by photographic documentation and detailed descriptions of individual specimens.

Most mineral specimens have been collected by Kurt Nowak himself since 1974 – often in cooperation with partners – with special attention to the aesthetic presentation of the minerals.

Free admission makes the museum an ideal destination for families who want to gain insight into this impressive private collection, which has been open to the public since 1991.
