Miniwelt Lichtenstein

The cultural landscape park is open daily from Easter until early November, showcasing its famous world landmarks outdoors. On the wide paths, visitors can stroll comfortably through the green park area while keeping a safe distance – passing by more than 100 significant national and international monuments from around the globe.

In an organized way, Miniwelt Lichtenstein takes you on a 4.5-hectare journey around the world – from northern Germany down south and onwards to Europe, Asia, Africa, America, all the way back to ancient times across time zones – a "little world tour." A quick trip from Saxony to New York.

Along the way, pressing buttons brings the models to life – lights turn on, tracks move, music plays. The Airbus A310 circles above the "visitors' heads," and the garden trains run past metropolises like Paris, Sydney, Brussels, or New York. How about a photo in front of the Christ statue, the United States Capitol, or the 12-meter-high Eiffel Tower? A wonderful souvenir of a vacation close to home with a world tour on foot.

All models are built at a 1:25 scale and some even use original materials. Visitors are always impressed by the incredible attention to detail and the direct comparability of the monuments. In the workshop, you can learn interesting facts about model building, and the cool adventure castle with climbing wall and rope bridge thrills kids.

In the climate-controlled 360-degree cinema Minikosmos, you can even "fly" into space. The 230-square-meter dome interior transforms into a curved screen, immersing you in a virtual adventure – whether exploring "The Secret of the Trees," the "Basics of the Stars," or the "Seven Wonders" – there’s something for everyone.

Food and drinks are served at the "Am Tor zur Welt" restaurant.
