Modellbahn Deutschlandsberg
Description
Modellbahn Deutschlandsberg showcases real model railway operation: on running days the layout is operated live, so you can watch train runs and switching operations. 🚂
The exhibition concept emphasizes operation and hands-on participation rather than purely static models.
The life’s work of model builder Gerd Schweighofer is on display, supplemented by the Schell Collection (Christof Schell).
The volunteer-run club is family- and cross-generation oriented and active in youth work; interested people can join the club and take a look behind the scenes.
