Moorweide
Description
Moorweide is a public green space in the Rotherbaum district of Hamburg, located north of Dammtor Station. It was originally bordered by Edmund-Siemers-Allee, Moorweidenstraße, Mittelweg, Neue Rabenstraße, and Alsterglacis. The area west of Rothenbaumchaussee with the university's main building is no longer officially considered part of Moorweide but is now known as Ernst-Cassirer-Park. The remaining main section between Rothenbaumchaussee and Mittelweg is called Große Moorweide, while the strip between Mittelweg and Neue Rabenstraße is referred to as Kleine Moorweide. The park today covers about 4.3 hectares and is listed as a "significant garden monument" on Hamburg's heritage register.
