Description

The Mühlenweg Scheffau (Herzerlweg) offers families with children an entertaining hike in the Lammer Valley. On the special section Herzerlweg, kids can count many hearts, making the tour exciting and fun.

The highlight is the historic Alte Mühle, a grain mill from the 17th century that operated until 1958 and has been lovingly restored since 1975 – giving both young and old a glimpse into local history.

Particularly impressive is the Winner Waterfall, which, especially during snowmelt, thunderstorms, and heavy rain, crashes thunderously from a rock opening into the valley below.

At the beginning of the trail, the Herzart Workshop invites families to a fun stop with a functional marble ball mill replica.

This family-friendly themed trail connects nature experiences and water right outside your door and can be comfortably completed in about 1.5 hours. Have fun discovering! 🌿
