The Museum der Strohverarbeitung in Twistringen preserves over 300 years of straw processing history. Visitors can admire historic equipment and see how traditional straw products are made using old machines.
This exhibition offers an interesting insight into the craftsmanship of the past and highlights the importance of this industry for the local culture before it declined in the 1960s.
