Description
Museum Kirchenhäusl takes you into rural everyday life of bygone times. The building has origins from 1614; the main house dates from 1761 and displays rooms furnished as originally.
Highlights include the „Schwarze Kuchl“ – an illustrative, partly tactile kitchen in front of tiled stoves 🏺 – as well as a reconstructed classroom that brings the schoolday of the past close to children. In the sacred space religious treasures await; the house is also Part of the Mühlviertler Museumsstraße.
