Description

The Museum "Leben am Meer" showcases impressive finds from the sunken marshland and the town of Esens, bringing the fascinating history of the region to life.

A special attraction is the working clockmaker’s workshop “Hansi Ticktack,” where the clocks still tick authentically – a highlight for children and families. Here, visitors can experience up close how people once lived between marsh and geest.

The museum offers a diverse event program for children and adults, indoors and outdoors, with hiking and biking tours full of discoveries.

For families with children up to 14 years old, there are many exciting activities that bring history to life and can be enjoyed together.
