Relaxation, sports, and fun for the whole family await you at Naturerlebnisbad in Lauenstein am Ith (between Hameln and Hildesheim). The centerpiece of this recreational area is a chemical-free swimming pool with diving rocks and a water slide.

There are plenty of leisure options beyond the water as well:

A playground, a stream, and a toddler pool invite the little visitors to play with or without water.

If you'd like to be active besides swimming, you can enjoy boccia, boule, badminton, beach volleyball, soccer, or table tennis to your heart’s content.

Mini golf:

Another special feature is the mini golf course on our grounds.

At a total of 18 playing stations, skill is needed to get the small ball into the hole with as few strokes as possible.

The playing fee (including rental of balls and clubs) is €1.50 for children/youths and €2.50 for adults.

Use outside the swimming season is possible by prior arrangement (more info at phone: 05153 - 5250).

Playing mini golf is also a great idea for children’s birthday parties, school classes, and so on.

Our concept: What is a natural swimming pool?

Since 1999, Naturerlebnisbad in Lauenstein has been operating. A natural pool completely avoids the use of chemicals (chlorine, fungicides). The principle is based on the water’s natural self-cleaning process.

The water is cleaned mainly by a separate regeneration pond and coarse and fine filter systems.

The water quality is continuously monitored internally and monthly by an external institute. The tests consistently show very good results.

So far, even during several weeks of heat and many bathers, no deterioration in water quality has been detected.
