NaturZoo Rheine

NaturZoo Rheine offers an impressive experience focused on getting close to the animals and protecting their habitats. With around 1,000 animals from 100 different species, the zoo provides a deep insight into the diversity of wildlife. A highlight is the stork reserve, which offers optimal conditions for storks and shorebirds. The monkey forest lets you encounter the animals in their natural environment, while the seals can also be watched underwater. The new bear enclosure, home to sun bears and golden jackals, is another highlight. On the spacious meadows, you’ll find kangaroos, llamas, and Patagonian hares. NaturZoo Rheine actively promotes species and environmental conservation and creates a natural home for its residents. This combination of closeness and commitment makes the zoo a special place for animal and nature lovers.
