Pfefferminzmuseum takes you into the fascinating world of peppermint – from cultivation, harvest, and drying to the healing properties of Mentha piperita L. 🪴

Discover exciting insights into the history of mint in the community and explore other medicinal and spice plants that were once grown here.

During your visit, you can enjoy a cup of the original Eichenauer peppermint tea – a special treat right in the museum!

The museum also features a special exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Catholic Church Zu den Heiligen Schutzengeln, showcasing selected items that tell the story of the church and interesting developments in Eichenau.

The highlight is the self-managed peppermint field spanning 2,000 m², mostly maintained by hand by active members. Visitors and volunteers are invited to help with the cultivation – a fragrant volunteer activity that awakens the senses.
