Description

Pinakothek der Moderne brings together four museums under one roof and showcases art, graphics, architecture, and design – one of the largest collections in Europe.

A highlight is the glass rotunda at the center of the building, serving as a lively meeting point and starting place for exhibitions, guided tours, and cultural events.

Children and teenagers under 18 enter for free – so the whole family can discover the diverse offerings together.

The program is colorful and creative: there are public guided tours through current special exhibitions included with admission that open up new perspectives. Especially exciting are the family-friendly tours like the Kangaroo Tour, PIN.A digital for 2 to 5-year-olds, and PIN.O for children aged 6 and up.

In the open workshops Open4Making, visitors big and small can shape everyday forms using special modeling clay – creating reliefs and architectural elements in a playful way.

For anyone interested in creative writing, "UNEXPECTED Spezial | RAUMÖFFNER" offers a workshop to draw inspiration from exhibition objects and develop your own poetic fragments or short stories.

The Pinakothek der Moderne app provides digital support with themed tours through all four collections and information on over 100 objects as well as 80 artists, architects, and designers.
