Description

The so-called Pinocchio-Turm – officially called "Der Edle von Hauzenberg" – is a wooden observation tower about 20 meters tall located at the festival grounds in Rocco-Park in Hauzenberg. It was built as part of transforming a former industrial area into a modern recreational and event space.

You can climb the tower via stairs, and from its platform enjoy a wide view over the festival grounds and the surrounding area. At the lower level, there is also a slide and next to it a small play area, making it an attractive outing spot for children as well.

The entire area around the tower serves as the city's central event venue. Here you will find events such as folk festivals, the Hauzenberger Dult, markets, open-air events, and even circuses. The offerings are rounded out with play and leisure areas as well as dining options like the nearby Brotzeithütte snack hut.

Thus, the Pinocchio-Turm is not only an observation point but also a distinctive landmark of Hauzenberg’s recreational and cultural life.
