Platsch Oschatz mit Saunadorf und Schwimmhalle

The Saunadorf Oschatz invites you to relax, have fun, and recharge with its swimming hall, bowling alley, wellness area, hostel, and restaurant. In this sauna paradise with various saunas and a large sauna garden in the heart of Saxony, guests can escape daily stress with a relaxing sauna day.

Outdoors, you can enjoy the Tuli® sauna with a fireplace and a temperature of around 110 °C, the salt crystal sauna at 75 °C, the herbal sauna at 85 °C, and the Ruusu sauna at 85 °C. Indoors, the classic sauna heated to 90 °C, the steam bath at 50 °C, and the saunarium at 55 °C are available. Between sauna sessions, visitors can relax in the sauna garden with a heated brine outdoor pool, plunge pool, relaxation house, and lounge area. The restaurant offers burgers, salads, schnitzel, and more daily from 12 to 9 pm. It is also open to external guests. New to the sauna garden is the foot reflexology path “Via Sensus,” providing free wellness for your feet. For a more intensive experience, the in-house wellness area offers a wide range of massages, bath ceremonies, and packages.

In the swimming hall with a 25-meter pool and a toddler splash area, visitors can swim laps and join various courses. The Aquacross course is the highlight of the swimming hall, providing a rope course in and above the water—without safety harnesses or risk but with plenty of fun—creating a ninja warrior experience in Oschatz. The new leisure facility Platsch also features a modern 4-lane competitive bowling alley with a children’s adventure bowling lane and a bar area afterward. The bowling alley is open daily to recreational athletes.

A new addition to the Platsch leisure complex is the new hostel. From quiet moments to active relaxation, everything needed to complete your visit is now available. The comfort and hostel rooms offer a break from everyday life and can also be booked as part of different packages.

During the summer season, the swimming hall is closed, but the outdoor pool is open instead.
