The Pöstlingbergbahn-Museum brings technology and railway tradition to life for the whole family: the nostalgic halls of the former valley station form the setting where historic vehicles, tracks and electrical installations are displayed. 🚋
Children can touch and explore mechanical parts – for example a drive-axle gearbox and a block brake – while older children can experience a descent from the staff’s perspective in the driving simulator.
In the small cinema films about the history and present of the Pöstlingbergbahn are shown; the exhibition deliberately plays on the contrast between historic exhibits and modern materials.
