Rhododendron-Park Bremen

The Rhododendron-Park Bremen covers 46 hectares and features a unique collection of rhododendrons and azaleas. Of the approximately 1,000 different wild rhododendron species worldwide, more than 600 grow here and in botanika. In addition, about 3,500 cultivated varieties are displayed to the roughly 300,000 visitors each year. This makes Rhododendron-Park Bremen home to the largest collection of rhododendron species and varieties in the world. The main blooming period for rhododendrons and azaleas in the park, depending on the weather, is roughly from late April to mid-June.
