Description

Die Römische Palastanlage makes history tangible for children: There is a 3D visualization of the villa that serves as a digital discovery station. 🧭

On the 12,5 ha site there are colorful mosaic floors (≈320 m²) – the largest preserved ensemble in the Eastern Alps. A recommended circular route shows buried bathing buildings and visible excavations; the site lies on the Marc Aurel Radweg and is well suited for a family outing by bicycle.

For children, children's tours are offered with local youth and family groups, in which dramatic finds and notable gravestones bring stories to life. The multi-phase construction history of the villa offers many ways to clearly explain historical layers and reconstructions. Free entry
