Description
The Rosengarten der Stadt Köln is located on the site of the former Fort X of the inner fortress ring at Neusser Wall in the Neustadt-Nord district of Cologne. The plans for the layout of the symmetrical rose garden on the outer rampart of the defensive structure were created by the city’s garden director Fritz Encke. Since June 19, 2008, the Rosengarten der Stadt Köln has been part of the Hilde-Domin-Park.
