Sammlung MOTORRAD

Sammlung MOTORRAD showcases the world’s largest collection of historic German production motorcycles across more than 3,500 m², spread over three floors in a former wallpaper factory.

Over 800 motorcycles, ranging from the earliest models through the 1990s, highlight technical developments, design concepts, and various uses throughout the ages. Alongside German brands, many international makes and rare one-of-a-kind pieces enrich the exhibition.

The display of motorcycle types is especially diverse: lightweight motorcycles, scooters, 50cc and 98cc models, sidecars, and even pocket bikes illustrate motorcycle culture from every decade.

A key focus is on numerous motorcycles from the 1970s from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, and the USA – a real paradise for fans of historic technology.
