Description
Schillerpark is located in Berlin's Wedding district and was created between 1909 and 1913. Initial plans to establish a park on the Wurzelberge hills and their surroundings had been in place since 1898. Schillerpark is considered Berlin's and Germany's first public park designed with the new, spacious, and open layout that met social needs at the time. Schillerpark is protected as a historic garden monument.
