Description

Schloss Gimborn has a long history dating back to 1273 and invites you to dive into its fascinating past.

The castle was once the residence of a principality and impresses with captivating architectural details – including visible remains of the keep and parts of the old defensive wall.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not a water castle, yet a moat with diverted water and a dry ditch create a special atmosphere.

Especially interesting for families are the annual community festivals like the St. Sebastianus Marksmen's Festival, where you can experience lively traditions.
