SEA LIFE Oberhausen

With over 5,000 marine creatures and more than 2 million liters of water, SEA LIFE Oberhausen is one of the largest aquariums of its kind in Germany. Located right next to Westfield Centro, the aquarium offers immersive views of diverse aquatic ecosystems. It features interactive stations that provide visitors with deeper experiences. A touch pool offers tactile interaction with selected aquatic animals. The 1.5 million-liter ocean tank includes a ten-meter-long glass tunnel that allows direct observation of marine life, including sharks, rays, and turtles. Additionally, the facility houses Germany's largest shark nursery and an underwater dome providing a 360-degree view of the youngest marine life. A ride on the glass-bottom boat also offers perspectives of the tropical reef. Outside, otters are on display.
