The Sigmund Thun Klamm in Kaprun is a dramatic, 320 m long gorge, shaped by wild water – here you experience potholes, polished rock and whirlpools. 💦 On family-friendly wooden walkways children and adults can discover the gorge up close; the nature-interpretation trail explains the gorge lake and the underlying natural phenomena – ideal for curious children. In the town area the Kaprun Museum is housed in a 400-year-old farmhouse as a historical stopover. In summer there are special family activities such as the 'Klammlichter' – an atmospheric light installation.
