Description

At the Skimuseum Fischen, a fascinating journey through the history of skiing and traditional Allgäu village life awaits you. 🏡 This special museum is housed in a typical Allgäu farmhouse and is one of only 30 FIS-accredited ski museums worldwide!

Discover an old ski workshop where wooden skis were once made, and marvel at an impressive collection of antique Allgäu wooden skis as well as ski apparel from past decades. You can follow the development of alpine and Nordic skiing through jumping skis from 1925 to today as well as historical Bavarian curling equipment and ice skates.

In addition to the exciting ski exhibits, the museum also offers insights into rural life: Visit a recreated Allgäu farmhouse parlor and discover traditional crafts like spinning wheels and embroidery frames for the distinctive Allgäu edelweiss suspenders.
