Description

Next to Nonnenweg and Elsterflutbett, slightly southwest of the Sachsenbrücke, you will find the Spiel- und Fitnessplatz Anton-Bruckner-Allee, also known as the AOK playground. It gets the name "AOK playground" from the nearby AOK rehabilitation center. The area also includes a mini-golf course, a restaurant, restrooms, and an ice cream stand.

The AOK playground is one of Leipzig’s most diverse and sporty playgrounds, where children and adult sports fans can test their abilities on the equipment all year round side by side.

The site features a calisthenics park with various outdoor fitness equipment.

The equipment includes several pull-up bars of different heights, a monkey bar course, a fitness trail, a sit-up station, and rings.

But that’s not all. Next to the calisthenics park is a playground for toddlers with a climbing wall, balance beams, and a slide. Nearby you'll find a popular ping-pong table and two nest swings. The adjacent barbecue area completes the social atmosphere.

Just a few meters away, in addition to a large lawn, there’s also a skatepark and a basketball court. A paradise for sports enthusiasts of all ages.
