Spielplatz am Blockhaus

As the name suggests, Spielplatz am Blockhaus is located at the snack bar "Russisches Blockhaus" right in the middle of the wildlife park. Families can make a quick stop here to play and recharge. What makes this playground especially pleasant is the adjoining Bistro Blockhaus, which offers hot and cold drinks, ice cream, and light snacks daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., all with a perfect view over the playground. The Russisches Blockhaus and playground are inspired by Russian fairy tales from the 1960s. Even in winter, there are both indoor and outdoor seating options.

The playground is small but charming, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings thanks to its dark wooden play equipment. There’s a carousel, slide, swing, and sandbox. A paid restroom is also available on site.
