A playground in the city park for all ages:

The toddler area (under 2 to about 5 years) has modern play equipment arranged as an addition directly next to the existing playground at the ZAP. This includes, among others, a mini nest swing, a whisper flower, and a large wooden locomotive specially designed and made for the city of Emmelshausen with many exciting features. The locomotive is meant to symbolize the direct connection and reference to our active train station as the historical origin of the city of Emmelshausen. For older children (6 to 12 years), in addition to other attractive equipment, the nearly 8.5-meter tall climbing pyramid, called the 'Spider 8 Net Pyramid,' is certainly the prominent highlight of the playground.

For the first time in Emmelshausen, there are also various calisthenics facilities for teenagers and adults. Calisthenics, also known as street workout, involves exercises using your own body weight and equipment like parallel bars, bars, or rings. The calisthenics park is a perfect alternative for anyone who enjoys working out and training with equipment. Strength and endurance training like at the gym, but outdoors in the fresh air.
