This site is part of a system of military fortifications surrounding the city of Koblenz, boasting not only a 5,000-year history but also a gorgeous panorama and a lively cultural center with fascinating exhibitions. You can easily spend several hours exploring the complex. On the one-hour guided tour, you will experience history coming alive through authentic historical sites—from Roman military buildings to knightly castles and Prussian fortress structures: How would attack and defense on the fortress have looked?
