Description

The Naherholungspfad Gerlingen stretches along the former railway line and is divided into several sections. For younger visitors, there is a climbing play area with spider webs and a slide, set on a space that once served as a railway tunnel. The path also includes a resting spot equipped with benches, offering a place to relax and a view of the Gerlingen church tower. A central feature is the pump track, a closed circuit with banked turns and waves. This track is designed for use with inline skates, skateboards, bicycles, balance bikes, or ride-on cars. Additionally, a calisthenics station rounds out the offerings, where users can train strength and endurance through bodyweight exercises. The Naherholungspfad Gerlingen thus provides a versatile leisure option in the area.
